Craftaway is a fresh take on roguelike card games, that delivers strategic combat, fully upgradable and equipment, a deep progression system, all wrapped in a cute, humorous story that’s full of heart.
While it initially started as an open world crafting game, it's since transitioned into the roguelike deck you see here. This change fueled the idea of making a card game that feels like an open world. So as you play through, you'll experience many of the things someone would in a game like minecraft.
The Story
After a ship wreck, you find yourself on a deserted island with your crew far from sight. You must journey across the island to gather and upgrade cards & equipment, meet interesting characters, fight bosses, and eventually make your way home.

Choose your Destination
Navigate the map chosing your path. Whether it be fight, crafting table, various merchants, or random events!
Random Events
There are TONS of random events, each with their own choices:
Ex:
• A group of pigs, will you fight them, or offer a food card?
• A traveling merchant, will you guess the right chest for a reward? Or the wrong one for nasty consequences?
• A mysterious witch, drop anything into the cauldren, what will come out?
Gather your Team
Through events and battles you can get party members or objects to help in fights. Just be sure to keep them alive!
Ex: A campfire will add fire to your attacks, while a Pig ally will give "Bacon" any time it gets hit.
Cards, Equipment, and more!
Upgrade your cards in many ways! Boost their stats, add new modifiers, or even combine 2 cards together! There's also powerful equipment that can drastically change the game, like a Bandana of Bravery that boosts your damage, but only if you are wearing no other equipment. Or the Duct tape trinket that lets 1-time use cards be used twice.
Become a Master
Create powerful synergies with your cards & equipment! Like the card that duplicates itself when used, along with the card that destroys all other cards for multiple hits!
